Objective: To build a bridge that is the longest and can hold the most weight.

Material guidelines:

  • Use between 5 and 15 materials to build a bridge that is at least 2 feet long.

  • Examples of materials can include cardboard, popsicle sticks, straws, string, cups, etc

  • Adhesives do not count as a material

To test your bridge, place as many objects as you can on top of it until failure. Afterward, you can weigh the objects to see how much weight your bridge could hold.
