EYE Saturday Engineering Programs

What: An EYE Saturday program is a one day event for students grades k-5. Each event has an overall theme, and students will spend the day completing a series of engineering challenges related to the given theme. These events are run at schools, entirely by volunteers from that school and from the EYE organization.

Why: Most elementary schools do not teach engineering as part of the curriculum. EYE Saturday programs help change this by:
     - Exposing students and families to engineering
     - Generating excitement among families, volunteers, and educators
     - Generating funds to start instructional programs

How: EYE Saturday programs follow the model below
