Why We Exist

Educating Young Engineers seeks to provide every child with access to hands-on minds-on engineering education.

K-12 Access to Engineering Education

Percentage of students nationwide with access to engineering education

Similar to the ease at which young children can learn a second language, engineering skills are best taught at a young age. However, most schools don't start doing engineering with students until high school.

By then most students have already decided whether or not they like math and science, before they even really understand what engineering is.

Through our Saturday Engineering Programs, and LEGO clubs, EYE has brought engineering education to over 5,000 young students.
